Ronald Lee Gilbert, of Chester passed away on Saturday,September 5, 2015 after a long illness. He was 84 years old. Ronald was born and raised in Dover and lived in Chester for 56 years. He served in the U.S. Army Band during the Korean War. He and his brothers were co-owners of Gil-Craft Kitchens & Woodworking in Dover. He retired in 1996 after 42 years. Ronald was also a very active member of the Millbrook United Methodist Church in Randolph.
He is survived by Audrey, his wife of 60 years. His two sons: Kenneth and his wife Bonnie of Long Valley, Paul and his wife Patty of Aiken,SC, five granddaughters and one great granddaughter, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 4 to 8 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph www.Tuttlefh.com . The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
