Diane (Slacke) Lapsley passed away on April 18, 2020 in Morristown, NJ. Diane was born in New York City, raised in Saddle Brook, NJ and raised a family of her own in Flanders, NJ. She was a librarian for over 30 years in Mt. Olive, NJ and Sparta, NJ where she was assistant director. In her youth, Diane was a girl scout and girl scout camp counselor. During that time, she made lifelong friends.
Loving wife of Donald. Loving mother to her sons Brian and Michael. Loving mother-in-law to Karen. Diane’s greatest joy was being grandmother to Genevieve. Diane is also survived by her sisters Sue (and her husband Rich), Pat and Kathy and a brother. She was also a loving aunt, cousin and niece. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph, and her mother, Marion.
Due to the current Pandemic and Executive order, all arrangements are private. Please check back for details on a memorial service at a later date.
