Obituary of Holden Kevin Rigby
In remembrance of Holden Kevin Rigby
Kevin was born on April 27, 1954 in Denville NJ. Kevin passed away on March 30th 2020 during the start of the pandemic closure at the age of 65. Out of an abundance of caution, his family decided to wait to give him the service that he would have wanted.
Kevin graduated from Morris Knolls Highschool, where he was captain of the Ski team. He also achieved the status of Eagle Scout before moving on to attend Lycoming Physical Education College. At Lycoming he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon, International Fraternity.
Kevin worked for UPS from 1975-1986.
A skilled craftsman, he went on to design and produce a truck bedding protection system called “Rig-Liner” which was featured in Popular Science Magazine. He later designed a medical identification bracelet for his company Kirdin Inc.
Kevin is survived by his father Holden G. Rigby of Alpharetta GA, daughter Kirstin Rigby, granddaughter Colette Howie of Morris Plains, sister Robin Stalter, niece Randiann, and nephews Corey and Chad. He was predeceased by his son Kyle Rigby and mother Barbara Rigby.
The memorial service will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 NJ-10, Randolph, NJ 07869 on Thursday August 19th, from 4-6pm (Tuttlefh.com). Interment Friday August 20th 11 AM at Millbrook Cemetery, Randolph.
