MATJUCHA, Nelly Carla (née Schmidt), 92, a long-time resident of Montclair, NJ died peacefully at her home in Randolph, attended by family. Beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend.
Born in Ukraine, Nelly came to the US in 1955, married Ippolit A. Matjucha in 1959, and was widowed in 1988. She leaves 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
A private graveside service is planned on Wednesday, April 1 at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Montclair; Nelly will be laid to rest beside her husband. A memorial celebration is planned for this summer.
