David, Jennifer, Lauren, Carly, Karen's Grandchildren and siblings,,
I first met Karen in sophomore English class at FLHS. She was a new student and I could see the sweet, but mischievous demeanor she possessed - needless to say, we hit it off! ;) Peas in a Pod. After HS, we went our ways, and we did not reconnect until the FLHS 2003 reunion was announced. She found me and asked if I was going,, I remember saying.. "if you go, I'll go." and she said "if you go, I'll go." We were hotel mates, and when we first saw each other after all those years, it was like no time at all had passed - and to this day she'd kid me about the 'pink' outfit I wore to the reunion - lol.
Since that time we kept in touch - my employer was HQ'd in Parsippany, so for many years I would be in town - Karen and I would meet for a dinner in the Parsippany/Denville area, and we ALWAYS had the best laughs. A couple times I stayed through the weekend at your home so we could spend a couple days together, and I always enjoyed spending time getting to know you, her family, and the FIDS (furry kids.)
I will surely miss our sweet Karen, my dear friend, and I pray that you, her family, will find peace with each other sharing her memories and the love she had for you all. She LOVED and was always so PROUD of her girls.
RIP Kiddo,,, I will see you on the other side. Save a seat for me ;)
