Obituary of Renate Swayze

Renate Swayze, 71, of Dover, passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, July 31, 2015. Renate was born in Vienna, Austria, and had been a resident of Dover since 1962. Prior to that, she lived in many places all over the world as a U.S. Army brat. She worked as a Secretary for the Dover Board of Education for over 20 years, retiring in 2006. Renate was also a Homemaker, who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by Wilbur, her husband of 50 years; two sons Bill of West Orange and Dan and his wife Laura of Randolph; four grandchildren Emma, Ryan, Justin and Amelie. Renate was predeceased by her mother Hildegard Coughlin in 2010 and her father Lloyd Coughlin in 2000. The visitation will be on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 7-9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.Tuttlefh.com). The Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Parish in Dover. Entombment will follow at the Locust Hill Mausoleum in Dover.
