Emma “Elba” Montalvo-Velez, mother of Juan Casiano, has joined her husband, José, and son, José Luis, in heaven. Elba was loved by all and helped raise not only her own children, but her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well. More than anything else, Elba loved children. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to El Primer Paso Preschool, 29 Segur Street, Dover, NJ 07801.
Elba will be buried with her family in Lajas, Puerto Rico. A small service will be held for her there. Later, a service will be planned for family and friends in this area.
