Obituary of Eva Pirone

Eva Pirone passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Clara Mass Medical Center, Belleville.  She was born and raised in Newark, lived in Maplewood until 1984, before residing in Nutley for the last 35 years.  Eva worked at Schulman’s Dept. Store in both Newark and Port Elizabeth until her retirement in 1994 after 35 years.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Eva is survived by her daughter Judith Sorge of Randolph, her son Dr. Arthur Michael Pirone and his partner Terese of Newton, two grandsons Michael Sorge and his wife Melissa of Mendham and Christopher Sorge and his wife Sehriban of Brooklyn, two great-grandsons, Brad and Wesley.

Funeral Mass 10:00 AM Monday, June 10, 2019 at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, Randolph.

Entombment at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover.
