John “SweetiePies” Rocco Barros 60, passed away April 24, 2019 at St. Michael’s Hospital, Newark.  He was born in Hackensack and has resided in Newark for over 22 years.  John was an assistant Pastor at Calvary Chapel, Morris Hills and managed the Crossway Radio Station based there.  Rocco was also a self-employed personal trainer for over 40 years and a former Assistant Pastor at Calvary Chapel, Kearny.

John is survived by his wife Tyneesha of 10 years,  his mother Anita Barros of Mountain Side, his sister Lori (John) Bennett of NY, his beloved pet Porkchop Barros, his in laws Twanna Perkins, Betsy Fernandez, Charlene Burgess, Teeasha Baker, Reginald Baker, Saundra Baker, Serell Brown, Ebony Henry, Melvenus Smith, Elizabeth Angel McNair, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service, 3:00 PM, Saturday May 4, 2019 at Calvary Chapel Morris Hills, 158 W. Clinton St. Dover.

Interment is Private.
