Obituary of Augustine Shanklin

Augustine Shanklin 92 passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at her residence in Dover.  She was born in Houma, Louisiana and was a long-time resident of Boonton, before moving to in Dover in 2018.

Augustine was a medical technician for Greystone State Psychiatric Hospital, Parsippany for many years, and a long-time member of Union Baptist Church of Morristown.

She is survived by her three daughters; Brenda Kersey of Victory Gardens, Beverly Haynes (William) of Dover, Deborah Robinson of Pa., her two siblings Lucille Joseph of La James Westley (Shirley) of De, her five grandchildren; Sharon, Deirdre, Dana (Gregory), Leslie, and Renee. She is also survived by her seven Great grandchildren; Jazmin, Darius, Dymond, Gregory Kier, Luis Cannon, Camren and Chandler.

Visitation Monday, March 11, 2019, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Union Baptist Church 89 Spring Street, Morristown, with the funeral service to follow at there at 12:00 pm.

A committal service will take place at Locust Hill Crematory, Dover.
