DAILY RECORD- ONE TIME- FRIDAY, June 26, 2015 STAR LEDGER- ONE TIME- FRIDAY, JUNE 26, 2015 TUTTLE FUNERAL HOME 973-366-7400 Joseph Alfonse Schmidt, 98 of Mine Hill, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Sunrise of Randolph, Randolph. Joseph was born in Newark, lived in Cedar Knolls for 53 years in a house that he built himself. Joseph served in the US Navy during WWII. He worked for Western Electric for many years until retiring at the age of 62. He was an avid gardener and spent endless hours tending his yard. He is survived by his children Janice Frankenbush and husband Alfred, Daniel and wife Ellen, Richard and wife Lori, Timothy and wife Irene, six grandchildren Jennifer, Stacy, Dean, Bradley, Zachary and Michael, and five great-grandchildren Jordan, Christian, Owen, Addison and Madelyn. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015, 9:00AM-11:00AM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service 11:00AM, also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
