My angel. My hero. My heart will never be completely full again but I promise you this. Until we meet again, I will walk for you, run for you, talk for you, and see the world for you. You wanted to live and because your life was cut far too short, we promise to live for you. While I don’t know if this sadness will ever fade like people say it will, I will honor you all the days of my life and through the life of your niece/nephew. You were the brother I never had and I was the luckiest that you became mine as well. Keep watching over us with those beautiful blue eyes and that big beautiful smile that I will forever have engrained in my memory and in my soul. I miss you so terribly bad it hurts but like you did, I will fight through the pain the best I know how and carry you with me everywhere I go. Jeff,my ultimate warrior and hero, will be in my heart forever. No one has exemplified more courage, strength and unselfish love. He fought this battle with grace and dignity and, although God wanted him, he will forever live in all the hearts of the hundreds and hundreds that gave him the encouragement to battle this evil of brain cancer. I promise all that his children will forever know this hero of our family history.

The truth is...I didn't know Jeff that well. I knew him from a distance and the few times we met.
However, from what is written about him and from the loving family that surrounds him; it is easy to
