Obituary of Richard Tort

Richard Tort, 92, of Denville, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at his home. He was born and raised in Newark and resided in Cedar Knolls before Denville.

Richard was an avid NY Giants fan. He loved his family and enjoyed going to the diner for breakfast.

He is survived by Kathryn his wife of 47 years; daughter Gerilyn and her husband Rhys Williams of Randolph; brother John Tort of Morris Plains; many nieces and nephews and many other loving family members.

Visitation Wednesday, January 30, 2019, 4:00-8:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass Thursday, January 31, 2019, 10:00AM, at St. Catherine’s Church, Mountain Lakes. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover.
