Obituary of Dennis Hobbs Turner
Dennis Hobbs Turner 62 passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at his home. He has been a resident of Phillipsburg since 2016 and was a former long time resident of Dover.
Dennis was self employed in e. commerce selling antique watches, postcards and other memorabilia. He was an avid historian and genealogist. He participated in several local history groups online and was also an excellent photographer and a collector of antique watches.
Dennis’s greatest love was always his family. He is survived by his companion Jillian MacDougal of Phillipsburg, his two sisters Elizabeth Turner of Lake Hopatcong and Eleanor Foote of Boston, MA.,and six devoted nieces and nephews. Dennis is predeceased by his brothers Frederick and Charles Turner, his sister Rosalie Gerdon and he is survived by their fifteen children.
Memorial Visitation Saturday, January 26, 2019 2:00-3:30PM with a funeral service to follow, at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
Interment is Private.
