Obituary of Jerry Garcia

Jeremias “Jerry” Garcia 88 passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Rehab at River’s Edge, Raritan.  He was born in Puerto Rico and has been a resident of Newark since 1960.  Jerry was a Millworker for Volco Brass and Copper in Kenilworth and he retired in 1980 after 25 years. He was a member of Temple Rock of My Salvation in Newark.  Jerry was a former AAA baseball player and he loved playing Dominoes, shooting pool and crabbing at Seaside. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Angeles, his six children Felix of Fl., Joe of N.C., Licy of Randolph, Sal of Randolph, Blanca of NY and Lily of FL., his sister Aurora Watson of Newark, 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Visitation Monday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM December 17, 2018 at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefuneralhome.com).

 The Funeral Service will be held there Tuesday, 11:00 AM December 18, 2018. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Mausoleum in Dover.
