Obituary of Irene Swierzbinski
Irene Swierzbinski 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice Center, St. Clare’s, Dover.
Born Irene Nebosky in Jersey City on October 30,1926, Irene lived in Ramsey before her family relocated back to Jersey City where she attended Dickinson high school.
Soon after high school she met and married the love of her life, John Swierzbinski . They relocated to New Milford where they raised their two children. In 1986 they moved to Manchester, New Jersey to begin their retirement. Retirement was centered around time with grandkids , friends and travel.
Due to Johns declining health they moved to Randolph to be near their daughter almost six years ago.
Irene is predeceased by her parents Mary Keane and Frank Nebosky ,her husband John, her siblings Edward Nebosky and his wife Jean, Dorothy Verry and husband Bob,
Her brothers and sisters in law :Reverend Edward Swierzbinski, Joe & Albina Swierzbinski, Stanley and Celina Swierzbinski, Tony and Natalie Swierzbinski.
Irene is survived by her children, her son Michael Swierzbinski and his wife Diane and her daughter Susan Zaffiro and her husband John.
She is survived by four grandchildren: Kristin and James Bayes of the UK, Michael and Stacey Swierzbinski of Maryland, Matt and Karen Swierzbinski of Maryland and Justin Zaffiro of Los Angeles. She is also survived by two great grandsons, Jack and Connor.
In addition she is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews and one great grand niece.
Visitation Thursday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM December 6, 2018 at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
Funeral Mass Friday, 10:00 AM at Resurrection Parish, Randolph.
Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
