Obituary of Albert Gonsiska Jr.

Albert “Al” Gonsiska Jr. 80, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2018 at his home in Flanders.  Albert was predeceased by his parents, Susan and Albert Gonsiska.  He was born and raised in Passaic and was a graduate of Passaic H.S. and Fairleigh Dickerson University with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Al retired from Picatinny Arsenal in 2004 after 42 years of service.

Al enjoyed bowling and golf.  He was past President and Association Manager of Morris County Bowling association, which he served for 40 years.  He was also involved in the State Bowling Association and was on the County and State Hall of Fame for his service.  He received many awards for his accomplishments with the bowling community.  Golf was also a favorite sport.  He was a member of the Picatinny Golf Club.  Al was a member of NARFE and served as a Director.  He leaves his wife of 56 years Miriam, daughter Alisa and husband Joseph Untisz of Flanders, son Michael and his wife Danielle of Columbus, Ohio and his precious grandsons, Tyler Untisz, Max and Luke Gonsiska.  Al has one brother Allen and his wife Jacqueline of Beaver Creek, Ohio and a niece Michelle and nephew Philip.

Visitation Sunday, 1:00PM – 5:00 PM, November 18, 2018 at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).

Funeral Service Monday, 10:00 AM, November 19, 2018 also at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society. www.cancer.org
