Obituary of Lorraine D'Amico

Lorraine (Burkhardt) D’Amico, 86, of South Orange passed away at her home on Thursday, October 18, 2018.  Born in Irvington, she resided in South Orange for 60 years.  She was a retired hairdresser.  Lorraine loved spending time at her summer home at the Jersey Shore.  Her husband, the Honorable Judge A. Herbert D’Amico died in 1985.  She was also predeceased by a daughter, Deborah D’Amico, her brother, Carl Burkhardt, and her sister, Edith Pecht.  Surviving are her son, Wayne D’Amico and his wife, Karen; her daughter, Carla Ferragine and her husband, Sal; 2 grandchildren, Alexa and Nicolas Ferragine; several nieces and nephews; dear caregivers, Lillian Figueroa and Claudia Sayes; and her South Orange neighbors.  Visitation 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10 West, Randolph.  Burial will be private.
