Brigida Villarrubia, 98, of Dover, passed away Thursday, June 4th, 2015, at her home.
Brigida was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico.
She was a member of the second family to move to Dover. She became well know in the community for her three houses where she would provide rooms and meals for others who were just coming to Dover from Puerto Rico. Her generosity was admired by the people she touched.
Survived by her seven children Ramon, Luz Maria, Zoraida, Margarita, Ishmael, Andres Jr. and Rosa Lidia; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great -great -grandson. She is also survived by many loving family members. Predeceased by her husband Andres Sr. in 1983 and her son Wilfredo in 1965.
Visitation will be held, Monday, June 8th, 2015, 1:00 - 3:00 PM and 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com) .
Funeral Mass will be at Sacred Heart Church, Dover, Tuesday, June 9th, 2015, 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Locust Hill Mausoleum, Dover.
