James M. Joseph, 73, of Hackettstown, passed away Friday, May 29th, 2015 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, following a long illness. James was born in New Brunswick and has been a resident of Hackettstown for the last 10 years. He formerly resided in Wharton. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. James was Owner/Operator of Universal Conservation, Wharton. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed spending time at the gun range, and was an avid motorcycle rider and member of the Harley-Davidson Owners Group. He was also an animal advocate. Survived by two daughters Dena Feldman and her husband Scott of Wantage and Tracey Walsh and her husband Kevin of Hopatcong, four grandchildren Jami, Casey, Julia and Joshua, one great-grandson Anthony, Jr. and his brother Leonard Joseph and his wife Doreen of Rochelle Park. Also survived by his nephew Eric and his ex-wife Carolyn Joseph of Hardyston. Predeceased by his parents James and Caroline Joseph. Visitation Monday, June 1, 2015, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph ( www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015, 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Freedom Presbyterian Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 304, Chicago, IL 60611-3201.
