Obituary of Mary Joyce Gorine

Mary Joyce Gorine, 85, of Dover, passed away after a short illness, on May 22, 2015, surrounded by her family and friends. Joyce was born in Dover and was a lifelong resident of the area. In 1948, she graduated from Bayley High School in Morristown. She married John Joseph Gorine, in 1952, and resided in Randolph. Joyce worked as an Office Manager for Kmart Corporation before retiring. She was a faithful parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Dover her entire life. Joyce enjoyed vacationing with friends and visiting her family. She enthusiastically travelled to a variety of places, making the most out of life. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband John, and son Jack. She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Tim) Roberts of Seattle, WA, Patty (Ron) Thebeau of Brick, and daughter-in-law, Kathy Borysko of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Joyce has 5 grandchildren; David, Stephanie, Allison, Ronnie, John, and Kevin. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (Tuttlefh.com) on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Sacred Heart Church, Dover at 10:00AM. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. I n lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Dover Historical Society, 55 West Blackwell Street, Dover NJ, 07801.
