Obituary of Evangelos Pallis

Evangelos Pallis died on Monday, May 18, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Evangelos was born in Analipsis, Greece. He came to America at the age of 13 and settled in Dover.
He was a graduate of Dover High School Class of 1967. Van was a Navy veteran who served on the USS Ranger CVA-61 super carrier during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged from the Navy in 1971, Van returned home and joined the family painting business and later became an entrepreneur.
Evangelos was a member of the St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church where he was an Executive Board Member of AHEPA for many years. He was also an Executive member of the Analipsis Progressive Society from his birth place in Greece.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Anastasia; three children Maria McCarthy and her husband William, Gus, and George and his wife Maria; five siblings Paris Pallis, Irene Ferenc, Ourania Huber, Loukas Pallis and Dimitra Pallis. He is also survived by two grandchildren Anastasia and Evangelos. He was predeceased by his parents Constantino and Maria Pallis.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com ). Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 21, 2015, 11:30 AM at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, Randolph. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
