Obituary of Dominick Phillip DeLuca

Dominick Phillip "Butch” DeLuca, age 54, of Dover, NJ, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Lebanon Hospital, Bronx, NY, from a tragic accident while working. He was born April 04, 1961 in Scranton, PA and resided in Mountainhome, PA during his childhood years, he moved to NJ in 1981.
He was predeceased by his parents Benjamin P. and Barbara J. Schleiker DeLuca. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda DeLuca Gogliettino and her husband John. He is also survived by his sisters, Ruthann DeLuca-Kukla, East Stroudsburg, PA., Susan DeLuca, Mountainhome, PA, Bonnie DeLuca-Schreiber, Mine Hill, NJ: brothers, Philip DeLuca, Dallas, PA, and Benjamin DeLuca, Mountainhome, PA., and his nieces and nephews.
Upon graduation from Pocono Mountain High School in Swiftwater, PA. Class of 1979, he attended Mansfield State University. He then moved to Green Township, NJ in 1981 and started his career and life's work in the scaffolding business, which he loved. In 1992, he became the owner of a successful scaffolding business and was not just a knowledgeable and able businessperson but also a respected professional in the industry, American Scaffold Company located in Weehawken, NJ for more than 15 years. During his ownership he trained many young workers looking for a trade. He was a member of the Local 15 Carpenters Union and in more recent years Local 1556.
Memorial Visitation at the Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Highway 10, Randolph, NJ 07869 (Tuttlefh.com) on Thursday May 21, 2015 from 3:00PM – 6:00PM followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00PM.
