Obituary of Rosalyn M. Manning

Rosalyn M. (nee Holley) Manning, 97, of Dover, passed away Sunday, May 3rd, 2015, at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover. Rosalyn was born in Dover and has been a resident of Dover for most of her life. She worked as a Seamstress at Swiss Knitting Mills, Dover, where she retired in 1971 after 15 years. Rosalyn was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dover for over 60 years; Dover area Senior Citizens and Past-president of the Ladie's Auxiliary of the Chrystal Street Chapel of Dover. She is survived by her three children Brenda Woodhull and her husband Wm. B., Sr. of Dover, Linda Romeo of Vermont and Stanley H. Manning, Jr. and his wife April of Hopatcong; her brother Bruce Holley of Virginia and also four grandchildren William B. Jr., Katherine, Michael and Chase, six great-grandchildren Joseph, Ben, Emily, Angel, Abby and Matthew. A special thanks to Lily. Predeceased by her husband Stanley in 2013, her granddaughter LeeAnn in 2007 and her brother John Holley in 1990. Visitation, Wednesday, May 6th, 2015, 3:00PM-5:00PM & 7:00PM-9:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service Thursday, May 7th, 2015, 1:00PM, also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
