Robert J. Koeller, 68, of Mount Freedom, passed away suddenly, Thursday, April 16th, 2015 at his home. Robert was born in Chicago, IL and spent most of his life in Mt. Freedom. He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Mendham, and retired in 2004 after 35 years. Robert was a Third Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus, Queen of the Lakes Council #5114 of Mt. Arlington. He was a past troop leader for Boy Scout Troop #88 of Hopatcong. Survived by two sons Tim and his wife Colleen of Hackettstown and Christopher and his finance' Jennifer Lennox of Parsippany; three grandchildren Kiara, Olivia and Jocelyn and his mother Louise Koeller of Mt. Freedom/Deerfield Beach, FL. He is also survived by three siblings Mary Wilson and her husband Jim of Vero Beach, FL, Mike Koeller and his wife Karen of Phillipsburg and Kim Carey and her husband Tony of Marysville, WA and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Charles and his sister LaVerne Koeller. Visitation Tuesday, April 21, 2015, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service Wednesday, April 22, 2015, 10:00 AM also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to Boy Scout Troop #88, Hopatcong (Address pending)
