Obituary of Joseph John Cabibbo

Joseph "Joe" John Cabibbo, 71, of Budd Lake, passed away Friday, April 3rd, 2015, at Saint Clare's Hospital, Dover. Joe was born in Brooklyn, NY, and formerly resided in Jersey City and Nutley. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a self employed Insurance Broker. Joe was an avid Mets and Jets fan. He loved fishing, boating, woodworking and the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Survived by his five children Susan Cabibbo of Bolton Landing, NY, Patricia Anderson of MN, Michael Cabibbo and his wife Faith of Budd Lake, Michelle Hart and her husband Scott of Bayonne, and Gina Viruet and her husband Ron of Union; his ex-wife and life long friend Beverly Cabibbo, fourteen beloved grandchildren. Also survived by his father Joseph Cabibbo and his step father August Balton, his brother Jeff Balton and his wife Ruth; his sister-in-law Sarah Balton; his cousin JoRita Navarro and her sons Anthony and Frank. Also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Angela and his brother Gregg Balton.
