Obituary of Michael John Simko

Michael John Simko, 60, of Randolph, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Michael was born in Bayonne and has been a resident of Randolph since 1983. Michael joined ITT as a Digital Design Engineer in 1978 and retired in 2013. During his 34 years at ITT, Michael was the lead Hardware System Engineer on many critical communications systems. Throughout his career, Michael was recognized with performance excellence awards from both ITT and the US Government. Michael is survived by his wife, Dawn (Tickey) of 32 years; his father, John; son Ryan and his wife, Theresa; son Matthew and his girlfriend, Katherine; and Swayze. He is also survived by two grandsons, Noah and Alexander; three siblings, Suzanne Thomas, Joanne Mielczarski and John; and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother, Mary. Visitation Saturday, April 4, 2015, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph ( tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass Monday, April 6, 2015, 10:00 AM at Resurrection Parish, Randolph. Internment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
