Obituary of Thomas O. Foy

Thomas O. Foy, 69, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away suddenly, Sunday, March 29th, 2015 at St. Lukes Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. Thomas was born in Newark, NJ and raised in Irvington, NJ. He has been a resident of Phillipsburg since 2000. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Maintenance Man at Hope Elementary School, Hope, NJ. for 14 years. He also worked as a Maintenance Man for Varityper in East Hanover for 33 years. Thomas loved horses and was an avid rider. Survived by Joyce, his wife of 33 years, two stepchildren Richard Ogle of Phillipsburg, NJ and Jennifer Christopher and her husband Michael of Stewartsville, NJ. Also survived by three grandchildren Mackenzie, Dylan, and Brandon, two brothers Dennis Foy and his wife Trish of Forked River, NJ, Michael Foy and his wife Lillian of Tuckerton, NJ and two sisters Dorthea Foy of Kenilworth, NJ and Elizabeth Malet of Toms River and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews. Visitation today, April 2, 2015, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, NJ (tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services Friday, April 3, 2015, 10:00 AM also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183.
