Obituary of Gloria G. Egerer

Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 10:00 AM Gloria G. Egerer, 80, of Rockaway Borough, NJ passed away Friday, October 23, 2009 at Saint Clares Hospital in Denville after a short illness. Born and raised in Dover, she became a resident of Rockaway Borough in 1953.Gloria worked as a X-ray Technician for Howmet Corp. in Rockaway for 26 years, retiring in 1996. Gloria was a member of the Rockaway Borough Senior Citizens. She loved reading, crocheting and spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. She also loved text messaging with her grandchildren and surfing the web. She is survived by George, her beloved husband of 59 years. Her son: Wayne Egerer and his wife Kathy of Hampton, NJ. Her daughter: Deborah Mackintosh and her husband Bob of Washington, NJ, her six grandchildren: Jamie,Kelly,Wayne Jr.,Vicki, Amie and Brian. And her two great-grandchildren: Andrea and Audrey. Also her nieces, nephews and her dog, Molly. She was pre-deceased by her father, Ernest Tucker in 1955, her mother, Maude Tucker in 1975 and her brother Milton Tucker in 1974.
