Obituary of Teresa Kelly Rehm

Teresa Kelly Rehm passed away peacefully on March 30, 2015 at the age of 88 at Mt. Arlington Senior Living in Mt. Arlington NJ , surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be at the Tuttle Funeral Home , Randolph NJ (tuttlefh.com) today, April 1, 2015 from 3:00PM – 7:00PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernard’s Church at 22 St. Bernards Rd , Wharton , NJ on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM. “Terry” was born and raised in Staten Island . After graduating from high school, she went to work for the Western Electric Division of AT&T in Manhattan . While employed there, she met her beloved husband John. They were married for 63 years until John’s passing in 2013. They lived in Bergenfield for 52 years where they raised eight children and were long time parishioners of St. John’s R.C. Church . They moved to Rockaway in 2003. Terry is survived by her children, Bob Rehm, Jack, Pat Rehm, Peggy Vanderhoof, Larry Rehm, Ellen Harvey, Jane Olsen and Terry Stanulis. Terry will be remembered by all who knew her for her kind and loving nature. She spent her entire adult life as a caregiver, devoted to raising her large family and providing care for her husband later in life, slowing down only in the last few years . In addition to her children, she is survived by grandchildren Kate Murphy, Jonathan Rehm, Elissa Bradley, Kevin Vanderhoof, Kelly Rehm, Anna Rehm, Nick Harvey, Sean Harvey, Peter Olsen, Christine Rehm, Erin Rehm, Scott Olsen, Thomas Hermann, and great grandchildren Jamie Murphy and Nora Rehm. She was predeceased by her sisters, Irene Fogarty and Peggy Naples. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251 , Denville , NJ 07834 .
