Obituary of Robert P. Kerr

Robert P. Kerr, Jr., 65, of Dover, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, July 30th, 2013 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. Robert was born in Newark and has been a resident of Dover since 2007. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Police Officer for the City of Newark in Newark and retired in 1989 after 20 years. He loved riding his Harley, the ocean, his family, and especially his grandchildren. Survived by his longtime girlfriend Julie Kennedy; three daughters Kristine Davidovich and husband Ron of Dover, Jeannie O'Neill and husband Mike of Budd Lake, Kelly Guevara and husband Jeff of Randolph; ten grandchildren Jeffrey, Olivia, Patrick, Maggie, Chloe, Christian, Jeremy, Harrison, Michael and Samuel. Also survived by three sisters Joannie Gambini and husband Nordi of PA, Deborah Kerr and Cindy Kerr both of Spring Lake. Memorial Visitation Sunday, August 4, 2013, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
