Obituary of Jeanette S. Nielsen

Jeanette S. Nielsen, 87, of Dover, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. Jeanette was born in Osaka, Japan. She was a resident of Dover since 1963 and previously of Chicago, Il.. She worked as a Copy Center Supervisor for Lucent Technologies in Whippany for 10 years, retiring in 1982. Jeanette was a member and past president of the American Legion Post # 27 Women's Auxiliary of Dover. She loved creating flower arrangements, and studied Ikebana, the Japanese Art of Flower Arranging. Jeanette is survived by her son, Michael Nielsen and his wife Eileen of Mount Olive Twp., her four grandchildren, Terri, Heather, Robin and Ryan. Her six great grandchildren, Seth, Tyeler, Samantha, Sayde, Spencer and Taylor, as well as many nieces and nephews in Japan. She was predeceased by her son, Robert and her husband, Maurice, both in 2006. A Visitation will be on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph. www.Tuttlefh.com . The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 9:30AM also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover.
