Obituary of Alois F. Bauerlein

Alois F. Bauerlein, 91, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Merry Heart Nursing Home, Succasunna.   He was born in Unterhaid, Germany and was a long-time resident of Dover.  Alois was a Maintenance Mechanic for Ohaus Scale, Florham Park. He was also a member of the Dover Senior Citizens Club and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Dover.

Alois is survived by his wife of 65 years; Irene, his son Robert and his wife Mary of Randolph, two grandchildren Jill Clapp and her husband Griffin of Chester, Erica Solecki and her husband Stephen of Stanhope, two sisters Josefine Dorn, Renate Then and his brother Robert all of Germany, two great grandchildren Finn Clapp and Jake Clapp.  He was predeceased by his brother Joseph.

Visitation at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (Tuttlefh.com) on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 4:00PM – 7:00PM with a Funeral Service at 6:30 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.  Private inurnment at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
