Obituary of Tyrone Joseph Barnes

Tyrone Joseph Barnes, 72, of Randolph, passed away Monday, December 8th, 2014, at Saint Clare's Hospital, Denville, following a long illness.
Tyrone was born in Paterson, and has been a resident of Randolph since 1970.
He served as Vice President at Manhattan Maintenance Company, a family owned and operated company located in Fairfield, NJ and President of Barnes Electrical Industries in east Rutherford , NJ
A graduate of Seton Hall University with a degree in Business Administration. He was a parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle Parish in Randolph. A two term Mayor of Randolph he was very politically active in local politics.
Founder of the mens’s 35 and over softball league in Randolph. He had volunteered for many charitable organizations throughout New Jersey.
Survived by his wife Adeline, of 48 years, one son Tyrone J. II and his wife Dria of Hoboken, two daughters Taryn Peppo and her husband Charles of Green Township and Loryn Clark and her husband Jeffery of Durham, NC. Also survived by seven grandchildren Amanda, Vincent, Jeffrey, Blyss, Tyler, Noah and Cole and his brother Ronald Barnes and his wife Barbara of Johnson, SC.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th, 2014, 4:00PM-8:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014, 10:00AM at St. Matthew the Apostle R.C. Parish, Randolph.
