Obituary of Barbara Ann Kapinos

Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Saturday, September 26th, 2009 Barbara Ann Kapinos Mrs. Barbara Ann Kapinos, 69, of Randolph passed away peacefully at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover, Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009. Resident of Randolph since 1958. She grew up in the Boonton Lake Hiawatha area. Mrs. Kapinos was born in Newark. She was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She had volunteered at the Sacred Heart School in Dover in the1970's and 1980's. Graduated from Boonton High School in 1957. She enjoyed spending time with her friends. She was also a thoroughbred horse owner and saddled many winners. Survived by three sons: Jeffrey J. and his wife Stephanie Kapinos of Randolph, John S. "Jack" Kapinos of Knowlton and James C. and his wife Christine Kapinos of Randolph; her daughter Susan M. and her husband Jimmy Riter of Randolph. Also survived by three grandchildren Briana, Jacquelyn and Benjamin; her brother John V. Wrobel of Lake Hopatcong and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving husband John E. "Bud" Kapinos in 2008 and her parents John and Jean Wrobel. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church (973-366-0184), Wharton at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 26th, 2009. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visitation Friday, September 25th, 2009, 4 - 8 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph.
