Obituary of Irene Marie Neglia

Irene Marie Neglia, 69, of Rockaway Township, passed away following a short illness on Saturday, November 1st, 2014, at Pocono Medical Center, PA. Irene worked as a school crossing guard for the Rockaway Township Board of Education for 20 years and as a Sales Representative at Macy's, Rockaway. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her three grandchildren. She was a member of the Rockaway Township Senior Group, and loved going to Atlantic City. She was also an avid animal lover. Survived by Ciro, her loving husband of 49 years, two children James and his wife Kelly of Sparta and Michelle Barber of Pocono Pines, PA, three grandchildren Laura Barber, 9, of Pocono Pines, Emily Neglia, 9, and James Neglia, 6, both of Sparta. Also survived by her sister Elizabeth Sam of Miami, Fl and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Irene Flinspach, her sister Joanne Fortunato and her son-in-law Anthony Barber. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th, 2014, 2:00PM-4:00PM & 6:00PM-8:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com ). A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, November 7th, 2014, 10:00 AM at St. Cecilia's R.C. Church, Rockaway. Interment will follow at St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Rockaway.
