Obituary of Donald B. Singer

Donald B. Singer, 87, of Wharton, passed away at his son's residence, Hackettstown on Wednesday, September 17th, 2014, following a long illness. He was born in Glen Ridge, has been a resident of Wharton for two years, formerly of Madison. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp in Germany during WW II. He was an electrician at Thomas A. Edison, West Orange and then Schering Plough, Kenilworth, and retired in 1990, and previously employed at and . He was a member of Livingston Lodge #11 F.&A.M. Survived by his wife Joan "Patterson" of 62 years; three children Donna Eddins and her husband F. David of Manesquan, Jandy Stamm and her husband Eric of O'Fallon, MO and Rahn and his wife Laura of Long Valley; nine grandchildren Nicolle Farina, Rebecca Farina, Summer Eddins, Brielle and Hayley Stamm, Rachel, Sarah, Adam, and Joshua Singer. Also survived by his siblings Roland Singer, Marjorie Spada and Ronald Singer. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014, 3:00-5:00PM & 7:00-9:00PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com ). Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 20th, 2014, 9:00AM also at the funeral home.
