Jeweldean M. Scheer, 102, of Dover, passed away Friday, September 12th, 2014 at home. Jeweldean was born in Pelham, TN. She was a member of the Bethlehem Church, Randolph. Jeweldean worked as a Teacher for the Rockaway Township Board of Education, Rockaway. She was an avid quilter. Jeweldean started teaching in a two room school house in Paynes Cove, TN, she was an active member of the Bethlehem Church and hosted many Bible studies and children's ministries in her home as well as host missionaries in her home. She was always alert to meeting the needs of others in a way that preserved their dignity. Survived by her three children Larry Scheer and his wife Lori Walker of Lafayette, Glenn Scheer of Dover and Cynthia and her husband Tom Mann of Hillard, OH. Also survived by three grandchildren Ian Scheer, Eric Mann, and David Mann and her niece Janet Critchley. Predeceased by her husband Harold G. Scheer in 2007 and her granddaughter Rebecca Mann in 1991. Visitation Sunday, September 14th, 2014, 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held at the Bethlehem Church, Randolph,10:00 AM on Monday, September 15th, 2014. Interment will follow at Succasunna Methodist Cemetery, Succasunna. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in her memory to the Bethlehem Church, 758 Route 10, Randolph, NJ 07869.
