Obituary of Mildred Stanulis

Mildred “Goldie” Stanulis, 88, died peacefully at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, after a short illness. Born Carmella Ippolito in Brooklyn, NY, on September 26, 1928, she married her childhood sweetheart on September 4, 1949. The family moved to Rockaway Township in 1965, where they were members of St. Bernard’s Parish. She is predeceased by her husband Wesley in 1995. Millie a fanatic Mets fan and Bingo player, loved spending time with her family at their summer home in Spruce Lake, PA. She is survived by her sister Claire Scales; her children Debbie (Jim), Wes (Sue) and Russell; grandchildren Katie, Wes, Mike, Carly and Sara, Kyle and Ryan along with numerous close family members. Friends may pay their respects on Monday, April 17, 2017, 4:00-8:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10, Randolph (tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, April 18, 2017, 10:00AM, at St. Bernard’s Parish, Rockaway. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any of the Rockaway Township Fire Companies or EMS Squads.
