Helen L. Titus, 76, of Byram Township., passed away on Friday August 29, 2014, at her residence, after a 25 year battle with cancer. Helen was born in Mt. Fern and was a resident of Byram Twp. for 50 years. She graduated from Roxbury Township High School in 1956. Before her marriage to the late John, Sr. (2004), Helen was a Sunday School Teacher at Succasunna United Methodist Church. Mrs. Titus was a public school employee for the Byram Twp. Board of Education for 25 years before her retirement. She was a member of Byram Twp. Ladies Auxiliary, an avid bowler, and a professional shopper and bargain hunter. Helen is survived by her two sons John, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Flanders, Dan, Sr., and wife Deb of Hopatcong; her six grandchildren, John III, Stacey, Heather, Dana, Danielle, and Danny; her great grandson Dylan; her brother George Fischer, and her sister Dorothy Thompson. She is also survived by a brother in law, a sister in law, and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (Tuttlefh.com) at 10:00AM on Wednesday September 3, 2014. Visitation at the funeral home from 4:00PM – 8:00PM on Tuesday September 2, 2014. Interment at Succasunna Methodist Cemetery, Succasunna. In lieu of flowers donations to the HCMA, P.O. Box 306, Hibernia, NJ 07842 or a Cancer charity of your choice.
