Gabriel A. Risco, Sr., 90, of Randolph, passed away Sunday, August 10th, 2014 at Kindred Hospital, Dover, following a long illness. Gabriel was born in West New York, NJ and has been a resident of Randolph since 1977. He formerly resided in Rutherford and Queensbury, NY. He served in the Merchant Marines during WW II. Graduated Kings Point Academy, NY. He worked as an Underwriter for Continental Insurance, Livingston. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus (3rd Degree), Rutherford; member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, Morris County; American Legion, Rutherford and the Randolph Senior Club. Gabriel is survived by his son Gregory and his wife Jacqueline, four grandchildren Gabriel A., III, Catherine L., James A. and Michael A.. Also survived by his daughter-in-law Annette Risco and his best friend Loretta White. Predeceased by his wife Rosemarie and his son Gabriel, Jr.. Visitation Wednesday, August 13th, 2014, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass will be at Resurrection Parish, Randolph, 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 14th, 2014. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, Suite 1100, New York, NY 10016.
