Obituary of Lorraine C. Chambers

Lorraine C. Chambers, 69, of Randolph, passed away Wednesday, July 23rd, 2014, at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. She was born in Irvington, a resident of Randolph and formerly of Boston, MA. She worked as a secretary at Boston University Boston, MA. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church, Wharton. She was an active member of the Randolph PTA, spearheaded the creation of the College Information Center of RHS and co-chaired numerous Granny's Attics at Fernbrook Elementary. She was an avid NASCAR fan, an eager animal lover, especially squirrels, and enjoyed spending her summers in Cape May. Survived by Francis, her husband of 42 years; one son Matthew and his wife Amy of Boston; one daughter Meghan Chambers of Florham Park. Also survived by her brother Gene Pniewski and his wife Tommie Sue of Hopkinsville, KY; two nephews Josh Pniewski of SC and Luke Pniewski of KY Visitation will be Friday, July 25th, 2014, from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, July 26th, 2014, 9:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, Wharton. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Randolph Animal Pound Randolph, Dept. of Health, Attn: Randolph Animal Pound, 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, NJ 07869.
