Obituary of Doris J. Salerno

Doris J. Salerno, 88, of Randolph, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 9th, 2014, following a short illness. Doris was born in Randolph, and has been a lifelong resident of Randolph. She worked as a secretary in the Oncology Unit at Dover General Hospital, Dover and retired in 1997 after 27 years. She was a member of the Millbrook United Methodist Church, Randolph, and also was a member of the former Dover General Hospital Bowling League. She enjoyed her retirement years traveling with her late husband Anthony of 67 years, who passed away in 2013. Survived by her three children Jean Mikus of Landing, Carol Porfido of Dover and Mark Salerno of Netcong; sister Shirley Magistro of Netcong and brother Robert Wilhelm of Rockaway. Also survived by two grandchildren Brenda and Brian and two great grandchildren Hunter and Charlotte. Visitation will be on Monday, July 14th, 2014, 3:00-7:00PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com ). Funeral Services will also be on Monday, 6:30 PM at the funeral home.
