Obituary of Dorothy E. Delvey

Dorothy E. "Dot" Delvey, age 90, Dot was born in Wharton and lived in Dover most of her life, until moving to Randolph in 2009. She graduated from Dover High School in 1941 and worked as a Loan Officer at Picatinny Federal Credit Union in Rockaway for 20 years, retiring in 1994. Dot was a longtime member of the Bethlehem Church in Randolph. She enjoyed baking and walking at the Rockaway Mall, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family, at her home and down the Jersey Shore. She is survived by her 5 daughters, Dorothy Hoffman and her husband Jerry of Dover, Dianna McGinley and her husband John of Hackettstown, Dolores Schiffner and her husband Craig of Ft. Collins, CO, Dale Rivera and her husband Steve of Hackettstown, Danette Dabb and Dario Margve of Stamford,CT, her 11 grandchildren, Tommy, Denise,Jerry, Leah, Linnea, Bryan, Michael, Jaye, Daniel, Andrew and Deanna,3 great grandsons, Bradley, Christopher and Matthew, her Sister-in-law, Olga Downs of Dover and many nieces and nephews. Dot was predeceased by her husband Hank in 2000, her daughter Danielle MacDonald in 2014 and her brother Carl Faust in 2006. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 3:00-5:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph(www.Tuttlefh.com ). The funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 10:00 AM, also at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at the Locust Hill Mausoleum in Dover.
