Gary D. Doerr, 67, of Jefferson Township, passed away at home Sunday, May 11th, 2014. Gary was born in Jersey City and has been a resident of Jefferson Township since 1972, he formerly resided in Jersey City.
He worked as a Maintenance Manager for Verizon, Netcong, and retired in 2002 after 35 years.
Survived by two sons Gary C. and Chris D. both of Lake Hopatcong, sister Denise Battaglia of Lincoln Park, half-brother Michael A. of Verona and granddaughter Veda Q. Doerr of MN.
Visitation Thursday, May 15th, 2014, 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com ). Funeral Services Friday, May 16th, 2014, 11:00 AM also at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
