Melvin "Note" Tidwell, 58, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, April 29th, 2014 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown following a long illness. Melvin was born in Morristown and has been a lifelong resident of Morristown.
He worked as a Custodian at the Frelinghuysen School, for the Hanover Township Board of Education.
Melvin is survived by his mother Annie Tidwell of Morristown, two sons Tyreek Tidwell of Morristown and Michael Curry of CA, two daughters Michelle Curry of Morristown and Shavon Tidwell of Charlotte, NC. Also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and his brother Gary Tidwell of Charlotte, NC. Predeceased by his father Gary Tidwell in 2008.
Visitation Monday, May 12th, 2014, 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Union Baptist Church, 89 Spring Street, Morristown, NJ 07960. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Morristown.
