Webb, Jr. , 85, of Sarasota, FL passed away Friday, August 28th, 2009 at Manor Care Nursing Center, Sarasota, following a short illness. Resident of Sarasota, FL since 1982, moved here from Lake Hopatcong. Mr. Webb was born in Bartley. He was a former treasurer and member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Morris Plains. He worked as a Public Relations Manager at N.J. Bell Telephone, Newark, Retired in 1983 after 41 years. Former councilman of Morris Plains. Past President of the Board of Trustees of the Easter Seal Society of Morris Plains and former Boy Scout Chairman of Troop #19 of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Morris Plains. Survived by his wife of 67 years Catherine (Arentowicz); son Russell Webb III and wife Janie Walker of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter Karen Condit and husband Jeffery of Orlando, FL; three grandchildren Eric Condit, Jody Fagan, and Timothy Webb; three great-grandchildren and two brothers Alan of Flanders and Dale of Blairstown. Funeral Services will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 3rd, 2009. (www.tuttlefh.com) Visitation Wednesday, September 2, 2009, 7 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to a charity of your choice.
