Obituary of Sandford Jones

Sandford Jones 89, passed away September 19, 2018 at Genesis Care, Parsippany. He was born in Wake County N.C., and resided in Raleigh, NC until moving to Victory Gardens in 1973. Sandford retired in 1991 from Fabricated Plastics in Morristown where he worked as a licensed Boiler Operator. He was a former superintendent of the Beverly Garden Apartments in Morristown and he was also a former cook at Morristown Memorial Hospital. His passion was for Southern cooking.
Sandford is survived by Larue his wife of 61 years, his three children Lenora Jones of Dover, Butchie of Landing, Andre of Dover, sister Mary Alice Wright of N.C., 5 grandchildren Jeremiah Jones, Henry Vance, Tyler Jones, Javon Jones, Charmaine Jones and 3 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his daughter Sandra Jones in 2002.
Visitation Thursday, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, September 27, 2018 at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
Funeral Service Friday, 11:00 AM September 28, 2018 also at the funeral home.
