Obituary of Patricia O'Brien Wilcox

Patricia O'Brien Wilcox, of Dover and Pompano Beach FL, passed away Sunday, April 6th, 2014. She was born in NYC and raised in Hazelton, PA. She was a graduate of Saint Gabriel's High School in Hazelton, PA and Marywood University in Scranton, PA. She received her Masters Degree in business from Montclair State College. She taught school in both elementary and secondary grades. Also taught at Morris Catholic High School and Mountain Lakes High School. She also taught at Dover Business College. In 1988 she received the Governor's Outstanding Teacher Award in Princeton. Survived by her son Floyd Wilcox, daughter Winifred Wilcox and daughter-in-law Kathy Wilcox. Predeceased by her daughter Jean Bauer and her husband Earl F. Wilcox. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 9th, 2014, 6:00-8:00PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com ). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 11th, 2014, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Dover. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Orangeville, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Eastern Division, Inc., Attn: Memorial Processing Center 6725 Lyons Street, P.O. Box 7 East Syracuse, NY 13057.
