Obituary of Rocco John Iacovone
Rocco (“Rocky”) John Iacovone, 32, passed suddenly due to complications from his heart condition, on Tuesday, August 28, 2018.
Originally from Mount Olive, after finishing high school Rocky followed in his father’s footsteps working in the construction industry. He continued to refine his trade by taking continual educational classes and enrolling in vocational school.
Rocky was an avid reader who loved to play games of chance like Texas hold’ em and lotto scratch offs. Rocky would also often be seen challenging family members to games of chess or asking for help on crossword puzzles.
To his family he was a generous and compassionate person who wanted to help the people closest to him. Rocky had a lot of love in his heart to give to the people around him and has departed entirely too soon.
He is survived by his loving and supportive parents, Francis and Jeanette Iacovone, his two sisters, Deanna & husband Will and Stefanie & husband Chris, his two nieces Francine and Hannah, his nephew Thomas and his grandfather Rocco who he was named after.
